About Raith Overhill BA. MIMI. RMIP. JP.
Studied Art & Design at the Cambridge College of Art & Technology. Became departmental medical illustrator at the Department of Anatomy, University of Cambridge in 1966. Under the instruction of the late, Professor Frank Goldby studied human anatomy. By improving his knowledge of anatomy and dissecting skills, became recognised as a skilled anatomist and medical artist. In 1986 he left the university to freelance in medical illustration and publishing. He has worked with leading clinicians and academics worldwide, specialising in pen and ink illustrations. He is a professional member of the Institute of Medical Illustration, a registered medical illustration practitioner, and currently a board member of the Scottish Institute of Medical Illustration, and chairman of the boards syllabus committee. Married to Morag a retired nurse with two grown-up sons, Bruce and Cameron,

About Bruce Overhill.
Studied Medical & Scientific Illustration at Blackpool and the Fylde College, Blackpool and Anglia University in Cambridge. He has worked with academics specialising in halftone and black and white illustration, and high end graphics in Adobe format. He has worked in the field of illustration for many years, and with his father Raith, intends to keep the name of Overhill synonymous in the field of medical and scientific illustration.
